We’ve been back home in England for about 6 weeks now and are having a great time seeing friends and family, and sampling the hot sunny weather we’ve had! (too hot for Becky!)
Jacob has especially enjoyed seeing his grandparents.
We especially enjoyed a 2 week trip to Wales, last month. Becky is only 2 weeks away from her due date, and can’t wait for the baby to be born!

This weekend was a lovely camping trip to the area around Camp David (the US President’s holiday retreat). The pictures show the beautiful area. It was the first time we’d seen hills since we’ve been here.
Jacob has become a real whiz at the computer with his Lion King and Toy Story programmes:

We have, after a week of rain, had beautiful weather this weekend and taken full opportunity of it with walking and bike riding. We probably looked quite amusing, with me on a bike, 6 months pregnant, pulling Jacob in his trailer, and just a little off balance, trying to adjust to my ever growing bump!! Jacob sat like Lord of the Manor, lounging in his trailer, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Anyway, here are some pictures…..

Welcome to the newsletter of the Heads in the USA. Family pictures, outings, news etc will be posted here for all to look at.
Let’s start with today. A trip to Fort McHenry. This is famous in US history for inspiring the National Anthem, ‘The Star Spangled Banner’. After the British attacked, and were unsuccessful in 1814, the flag was undamaged and inspired the poem, which was then set to music.
The weather is starting to improve. Rain today, but still warm, and the temperature is a nice change to the cold and snow we’ve had.
Jacob is a real little man. He comes out with the funniest things, and is so grown up. He loves attending pre-school, and it’s nice for mummy to have a little Jacob-less time!
Becky has just finished the first course she’s taking towards a degree, and was very pleased with the ‘A’ grade she got. Now it’s on to Maths!! (Not looking as forward to!!). The new baby is very active, a lot of the time now, and we’re all really looking forward to his arrival.
Ronan is as always working hard, enjoying university, and has the joy this month of doing tax returns!!
