First Week in Vienna – Augarten Park

We are just a few minutes walk from Augarten, and this weekend was Mozart in the Park. Great big speakers blaring out Mozart and what seems like half of Vienna, having picnics on the grass, ejoying the sun and soaking up the music. Throughout the beautiful gardens all around Augarten are the seemingly indestructible remnants of WWII – ‘bomb towers’ as the boys call them.

In a park about a 10 minute walk from our apartment is a free summer swimming pool for kids. The weather has been good, so the boys have been enjoying it!
